About us

Gasteizko Industria Lurra, S.A. (GILSA), is a public company which was founded in 1993. Shares ownership is divided between the City Council of Vitoria-Gasteiz (57,13 %) and the public company SPRILUR (42,87%). SPRILUR is a development agency, created by the Basque Government, for the promotion and development of industrial land use and premises. GILSA was set up to help encourage and promote industrial initiatives and investment in Vitoria-Gasteiz through the sale of building lots for commercial developments.

Vitoria-Gasteiz, with 244.634 inhabitants and an area of 276.8 km², is the capital of Euskadi and is located in the central area of the province of Alava. In addition to having the highest density of population within the province, the concentration of activities within the industrial and services sectors is greatest here too.

Development in Vitoria-Gasteiz has been restrained and the city has not lost its human dimension. A careful policy of urban development has helped to maintain a balance between the natural environment and the needs of a modern city. Vitoria-Gasteiz is a city that excels in terms of industry and services: planning is based on the principle of sustainability and the city is committed to following the Aalborg Charter ratified in 1995.

Currently, the offer of areas for economic activities managed by GILSA is focused on the Jundiz Business Park with a total area of 6.457.309 squaremeter gross and 4.171.583 net squaremeter of productive area after the last expansions.

About Jundiz Business Park

Situated just 6 km from the city centre of Vitoria-Gasteiz, Jundiz Business Park is also strategically located as regards communications, not only with the neighbouring provinces but also with the rest of Spain and Europe, and it has direct access to the A-1 national highway between Irun and Madrid.

Within the industrial estate there is the CTV (Vitoria Transport Centre), a 900.000 squaremeter logistics area, a 177.501 squaremeter railway freight station and MOT, and just 8 km away there is a direct motorway connection to the international airport of Vitoria-Gasteiz.

A Municipal Business Centre,run by the Vitoria-gasteiz City Council, and also a Basque Goverment Industrialdea (Industrial Area) help also to the location of new business activities.

There is an offer of land from 2.500 m² for industrial use and from 5.500 m² for commercial and service use, directly by the A-1 and the N-102.

It is one of the biggest Business area in Europa with a hight urbanization quality, 800.000 m² of green areas and 256.000 m² destinated to equipments. There is a hight land optimization.

A Services area of 136.000 m² give also added value to the Jundiz Business Park, including accommodation, bank offices, restaurants, commercial pavilions, office building, sport centre, a golf course,.....
