Information request
Armentia, a town in the municipality of Vitoria-Gasteiz, we find the Basilica of San Prudencio, patron of Álava and born in that very place. The Basilica, Romanesque in style, is a mandatory stop for pilgrims on the St. James' Way and part of the Inland Basque Way.
At the San Prudencio festival, on the 28th of April, thousands of people from Álava honour their patron saint by visiting the fields of Armentia that surround the Basilica.
