Origin of the room's name

The Virgin of Estíbaliz is the patron saint of Álava. The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Estíbaliz, just 10 km from Vitoria-Gasteiz, is one of the Basque Country's Romanesque jewels and is considered an Asset of Cultural Interest (ACI).

The festival to celebrate the Virgin is held on the 1st of May with a pilgrimage to the temple.
