We invite you to discover a gallery of works of art found on the façades of the Medieval Quarter and some neighbourhoods throughout the city. Enjoy these artistic expressions created collectively by artists and residents of the city. Find out its meaning and the collaborative process that made it happen.

The Painted City
Mural Itinerary of Vitoria-Gasteiz, a tool for public and community expression. Christina Werckmeister, Verónica Werckmeister and Brenan Duarte founded the IMVG in 2007 with the aim of providing the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz with an open space for participation and creation. Since then, the initiative has set up 19 large-scale public mural workshops, as well as creating numerous murals in educational centres around the city and in the rural areas of the province.

Fill in culture
This artist collective based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, was born with the vocation of working in the medium of mural painting and graffiti, with the idea of carrying out collective works, often of an ephemeral nature and going beyond individual authorship. Today, they are fully dedicated to muralism and encouraging citizen participation in their work. Their works include the murals “Kontrastafrica” and “Hezkuntza-Salud”.

Guided tours
