Un educador de Ataria acompañará al grupo por los diferentes espacios del centro de interpretación, terminando en la exposición permanente y dando pie a que el visitante pueda profundizar más en ella una vez acabada la visita guiada.

Visitas guiadas al Parque de Salburua

Un educador acompañará al grupo en un recorrido circular a través de los diferentes hábitats de Salburua, explicando durante el recorrido las diferencias entre ellos, la biodiversidad que alberga y las principales actuaciones llevadas a cabo en el parque y en el Anillo Verde. Como principal atractivo estará la visita al observatorio de las Zumas, donde se puede observar parte importante de la fauna y flora del humedal.

This is the visitor reception and attention area. It is the place where we shall inform you of the routes through the park and the Green Belt, where we shall lend you binoculars, field guides, bicycles, etc. A remote controlled video camera will enable you to delve into the heart of the Salburua Lagoons and reach places that would otherwise not be accessible to visitors.

Exhibition

By means of several interactive modules, this exhibition will help you understand the origin of the water in the lagoons, the historical evolution of the park, the functioning of the wetlands as an ecosystem, its natural values, the functions and services provided by Salburua Park to society and the threats it is facing.

Temporary exhibition hall

Exhibition

This room hosts temporary exhibitions on biodiversity and natural heritage. It is a place where visitors can enjoy travelling exhibitions by authors or institutions of recognized prestige, but it is also an exhibition space open to the public, where any person or group interested in the line of work performed by Ataria can place an exhibition.

Those interested in exhibiting at this room must submit a project. The CEA will collaborate economically in the production of any selected exhibition projects. Send an email

The lounge area, which features a large window that overlooks Salburua Park, is a place where you can rest and relax. In addition, you will be able to look up thematic information on biodiversity and natural heritage in general and on wetlands in particular.

Viewpoint

This is the most singular element of the building that houses Ataria. From this balcony you can enjoy a privileged panoramic view of the lagoons and Vitoria Mountains.

Biodiversity laboratory

Laboratory

This is a multi-purpose classroom-workshop where school groups can perform some of the activities programmed during their visits to Ataria.

It is also a place for family groups where workshops, shows... adapted to the characteristics of each group can be programmed.

It has also been designed to respond to the demands and interests of the youngest visitors. There is a theme-based playing, leisure and adventure area that will help children to discover these wetland ecosystems.

Assembly hall

This is a multi-purpose space with capacity for 50 people equipped with movable chairs, projection and sound equipment as well as simultaneous translation facilities.

  • you will be able to attend lectures, presentations, workshops, etc.

The assembly hall is available to groups that are working on biodiversity and natural heritage.

Video

The video presents Salburua Park from the perspective of a dragonfly. This odonate, which during a certain phase in its development, the larval phase, is aquatic, will show you what the lagoons are like from underwater. During its adult phase, the dragonfly, which is a flying insect, will show you the wetlands from a bird's eye view.

There are also a number of lagoons in the vicinity of Ataria, which you can enjoy and where you can come into close contact with the living beings that inhabit inland (not coastal) wetlands in these latitudes.

From the observatory, you will be able to observe the different species of waterfowl that pass through Salburua throughout the year.

A series of walkways and islands will enable you to visit the ponds and enjoy the aquatic flora and fauna that inhabit this place.
