The International Kite Festival.
In October and for a period of three days, the Provincial Park of Garaio is the scenario of the Kite Festival.
During this festival, organised by the Lau Haizetara sports group, a wide range of activities are organised such as kite model shows, messengers (this demonstration consists of raising a kite up the line of another character which is stable in the area, until it reaches a certain point where the "messenger" is released and drops its load of sweets) or combats between ‘rokkakus’ (Japanese kites).
Children's kite manufacturing workshops are also organised.
