In the open air.
Salburúa Park offers a free bicycle lending service. Moreover, at the information centre, the public can use a remotely controlled video camera to observe wildlife, and the park's bird observatory allows visitors to observe birds, animals and plants under ideal conditions. On World Bird Day, Harvest Day, Wetlands Day and Flowers Day, games and workshops are organised for children.
Special areas have been developed on the provincial parks of Garaio and Landa for bathing and open-air recreational activities.
The city also offers open-air swimming pools in Mendizorroza and Gamarra.
