Concerts and nightlife areas

The city has a number of different theatres and smaller venues in addition to the Teatro Principal, which can seat about 1000 people. The offer of concerts, music competitions, shows and performances is extremely varied and take place throughout the year in different parts of the city. Don't miss the jazz festival, the rock festival, the international folklore festival, the organ festival, the week of ancient music festival, etc.

In VG there are several areas of bars, pubs and discotheques. Young people generally prefer the bars in the medieval district of the city, and the main streets are Zapatería (Zapa), Cuchillería (Cuchi) and Pintorería (Pinto). Those who wish to have a quieter time frequent the bars and pubs in the pedestrian precincts in the centre of the city.
