The Palacio of Montehermoso

This building was constructed by the illustrious courtier, Ortuño  Ibáñez de Aguirre and his wife María de Esquivel y Arratia. It later became the bishops see and today it is the city's most important culture centre. Next to this building you will find the old water deposit, accessible via an underground entrance.  Today, it is used as a singular exhibition hall and events centre.
