Here you have five routes designed to enable you to get to know the city better:


The western expansion of the city during the 17th-20th centuries.

Our walk takes you to the area around the medieval quarter where you will find Baroque and neoclassical buildings as well as others that mark the transition to contemporary architecture.

The romantic expansion of the 19th century.

This is the social heart of the city with a large shopping centre made up of establishments of all kinds, from 100-year-old stores to a wide range of restaurants, cinemas and theatres.

Paseo de la Senda.

This is one of the most beautiful promenades in the city. More than 3 km of pedestrian precincts that link and the city centre with the residential area of Armentia, containing the Romanesque basilica of San Prudencio.

Where you will find the garden city, sport areas and the university campus.

The current area of expansion.

The new area of wide streets that connect the city and the residential areas of Lakua and Zabalgana.
