04/02/07 - A sand martin ringed in Salburua was found in Senegal

A bird ringed in Salburua, called sand martin (a small swallow) was captured in a wetland in Tiguet (Senegal) last January 26th. This species is watched in Salburua starting in spring, around March 15th, so they will soon begin their spring journey to return to their North nesting areas.
