07/21/06 - The Green Belt, example to follow in Paris

The CEA attended the meeting that Fedenatur held in Paris from June 8th to 10th. Fedenatur is a federation composed by european cities working in the consolidation of peripheral park networks. Under the slogan The challenges of the biodiversity in the peripheral spaces, several experiences were presented about design and management issues in this kind of parks to favour the highest biological richness.

The CEA took part with a lecture that explained the management of the Green Belt in general, and the wetlands of Salburua in particular, to improve the biodiversity.
