03/01/06 - Salburua has a great diversity of butterflies

The CEA has a programme of studies and research to better know the biodiversity of the municipality. During 2005 a study about diurnal butterflies has been carried out in the wetlands of Salburua.

The author of the research is Ibon de Olano, one of the most important experts in iberian butterflies and member of the Basque Entomology Association and of the Natural Sciences Museum of Alava.
